The upstairs has a full bath with tub/shower combo and a bedroom with a queen bed. The property itself has a sitting room and day bed downstairs and includes a small refrigerator and coffee/tea maker. Because of it's location it is quiet and would be a wonderful place for a family as there is a large lawn outside including views of the rare breed sheep in the pasture next to it. It is also just a couple of blocks from Merchant's Square should you wish to visit shops and restaurants there. This location is right on the Palace Green just next to the Governor's Palace and close to the Palace bus stop. As with all the Colonial House properties the lodging is on the grounds of Colonial Williamsburg so everything is right at your doorstep. I've stayed in several of the Colonial Houses before but this was my first time at the Robert Carter Kitchen. I recently stayed at the Robert Carter Kitchen that is one of the lodging options at the Colonial Williamsburg Colonial Houses.
